WHO WE ARE
The Afro Card Company creates greeting cards for the UK and overseas black population supplying markets as diverse as the Caribbean, Bermuda, USA and South Africa.
We started the company in 2005 after my wife was disappointed at the lack of choice of quality black cards for my 40th birthday so we set about changing this.
We make the world a happier place by creating vibrant, fashionable, unique, contemporary and stylish greeting cards that reflect the personality, taste, lifestyle and diversity of the black community."
We are fun loving, creative and progressive. We make greeting cards and we make them well!
"We love 'em!"

Around the table today we looked at some of the new card images Fred created - Where do his ideas come from? I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Tonight we went to Birmingham’s Creative City Awards. We all got to dress up, eat some posh food, drink expensive champagne and mingle with some celebrities. It was a long night, lots of fun, got a bit tipsy and we even got to win an award. Woohoo!
Nice order from Bermuda, South Africa and the Caribbean at the Spring Fair, NEC – our very first International Trade Show. It’s been a sharp learning curve and lots of hard work but hearing people’s reaction to our cards is so rewarding - we are on an exciting journey.
Had to give a presentation by myself – Fred was on a business trip in Barbados! My hand wouldn’t stop shaking before I went in, but it all went smoothly and they loved the cards, and of course we won the award.
